Exhibition “Intaj”, 2023

At the rise of the film industry, Writers were regarded as the driving force, the fuel that gets the wheel spinning into creating the worlds in which the characters and the visuals come from. When I think of Arab Cinema, I think of how I was introduced to it as the age of 9 sharing a screen with my mom watching black and white Egyptian Movies which I was mesmerized by. Growing up I learned that many iconic movies came from novels written by highly acclaimed writers.
